Dr. Pete McCown, Ph.D.
In his role as the President, Pete McCown, is responsible for all operational, programmatic, fund development, fundraising and financial asset management of ECCF. Pete holds graduate degrees from the State University of NY at Buffalo, where his doctoral research focused on best practices in fundraising strategy led him to become a frequent lecturer, consultant and writer on the topic of fundraising effectiveness and institutional strategy.
Director of Donor Services
Jodi Spataro is our Director of Donor Services and works closely with individual donors and planned giving advisors communicating the impact of ECCF in our community. She also works with current and potential members of the Legacy Society who are committed to future giving through ECCF. Jodi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Bethel College.
Director of Grants Administration
In her role as the Director of Grants Administration, she works closely with a team of volunteers overseeing the distribution of quarterly grants from the Fund for Elkhart County that which supports various community projects and programs providing a positive impact in the lives of people in our community. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Goshen College.
In her role as the Office Manager, Tressa oversees the daily operations of the foundation and providing support to administrative members of the staff and members of the Board of Directors and sub-committees. Tressa and her family reside in Bristol. She is a graduate of Huntington North High School.
Scholarships and Events Coordinator
In her role as the Scholarships and Events Coordinator, Amanda oversees our scholarships and educational outreach, working closely with educators, volunteers, and youth programs on post-secondary education initiatives and also assists with event planning, direct marketing activities and foundation communications. Amanda is a graduate of Butler University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
ECCF is an accredited organization by the Community Foundations National Standards Board; recognized for high standards in Ethical and Operational Standards.
