The Fund for Elkhart County is the core grant program of the Elkhart County Community Foundation and has the broadest guidelines designed to meet the Foundation’s mission to produce a brighter future, for all of Elkhart County. The Fund for Elkhart County is a competitive grant application process. Proposals are received on a quarterly basis and reviewed by a team of volunteers that represent a broad spectrum of our community.

We encourage you to contact us if you are a new organization to the Foundation or if you have questions about our online grant process. We anticipate in the months ahead to hold workshops about our application process, but until that time, please feel free to call me! – Shannon

Grant Results for March / 3rd quarter:

45 requests for funding were received (double our typical), $1.3 million in requests (three times the typical). Approximately $410,000 was available to award. $408,950 was distributed among 22 different organizations.  Approximately $400,000 remains for the 4th and final quarter of June.
